Looking for your new horse can often be a minefield, stressful and fraught with potential disaster. I often find myself helping people when they have reached the end of their patience trying to find the right horse.
1) Your riding experience and ability, and get to know your own personality a little
2) What you are looking for in a horse and what activities you want to do with your new horse
3) Where your horse will be kept, ie grass livery, stabled, type of livery, with horses / on its own etc
Once I have explored the above with you, and we have defined your search criteria, I will begin looking for and viewing horses on your behalf. I will then select 3-4 from the ones I have tried for you to view from which you can select your ideal horse. I will then be present at the vetting with you or on your behalf, and help negotiate an agreeable price.
Taking this approach will take all the hassle out of horse finding, saving you hours of time trailing around the country looking at horses that dont resemble either the advert description or the information you were given by the owner.
